About Us

When Shopko announced they’d be closing their Hardin pharmacy, we (three Montana pharmacists) tried purchasing it. Shopko initially accepted our offer, but ultimately sold the business to Walgreens and transferred all of its prescriptions to a Billings location. As a result, Hardin residents only had one local option to fill their prescriptions or else travel to Billings to get them.

 

We weren’t easily swayed, however. We own and operate pharmacies in other small towns around the state – including Columbus, Colstrip, Culbertson, Deer Lodge, Malta, Roundup, and Three Forks – and care deeply about keeping rural pharmacies open. So, we’ve been working hard over the last year to secure a location and open a new local pharmacy, which we've named Hardin Family Pharmacy, and will open Spring 2020 inside Reese & Ray’s IGA.

Like so many of you, we grew up in small Montana towns and are proud to be a part of the Hardin community.
