When Shopko announced they’d be closing their Hardin pharmacy, we (three Montana pharmacists) tried purchasing it. Shopko initially accepted our offer, but ultimately sold the business to Walgreens and transferred all of its prescriptions to a Billings location. As a result, Hardin residents only had one local option to fill their prescriptions or else travel to Billings to get them.
We weren’t easily swayed, however. We own and operate pharmacies in other small towns around the state – including Columbus, Colstrip, Culbertson, Deer Lodge, Malta, Roundup, and Three Forks – and care deeply about keeping rural pharmacies open. So, we’ve been working hard over the last year to secure a location and open a new local pharmacy, which we've named Hardin Family Pharmacy, and will open Spring 2020 inside Reese & Ray’s IGA.
Like so many of you, we grew up in small Montana towns and are proud to be a part of the Hardin community.
When you come in, we will work hard to get your prescriptions filled quickly and give you the best service around.
If you have a question about a product we carry or the prescriptions and pharmacy services we offer, or are looking to transfer your prescriptions to us, give us a call at 406-665-1201 or fill out our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
Thank you so much for your support and patronage – it means a lot to our families and our staff!
